@@AMSPerformance what's the purpose of a 30 second vid showing an engine? The reason people subscribed to the channel was for the builds and racing coverage. Apparently there must not be any money in the budget for that now.
You really need to convert the integrated exhaust to open headers that will fit GTR headers. That will make it to where it can use the GTR turbos instead of developing new turbos. Will also reduce back pressure significantly.
Sadly needs a custom cast head for that, Honda guys haven't crack that one with the k20c1 heads

Stage 2 and 3 doesn't mean anything. Tell us how big the ported heads are, how bored out the cylinders are, what type of pistons you used, how aggressive are the cam lobes, what valve and spring setup have u gone for, fuel system, ignition system and what compressor. Stage 2 and 3 bullshit has never meant anything its just a marketing technique to sell higher priced shit to non car people like you.
It says on their website. Stage 3 revs up to 8500rpm.
Stage? Is this really a new thing? Stage doesn’t mean anything, if it does, explain in detail what “stage” means and answer this. If I have a motor with forged rods pistons and crank, add higher compression pistons upgrading from 9.5-1 to 11.5-1 then add cams with longer lift time and bigger springs, then add a cold air intake… what stage is that. The answer is none, stage don’t mean shit. Again if I am wrong, elaborate in detail.
I always thought stages went like: Stage 1- bolt ons Stage 2- more fuel and air + tune Stage 3- built internals, built trans
@@notkylelol no, it is a common misconception that “modding” companies like to push because it is a pleasing selling point. There is no actual basis to it. Like for example company A says they have a stage one cam set, then company B says they have a stage one cam set. What actually matters is how long the cam keeps the valve open and how durable the cam is, let’s say company A’s cam opens the valve for 5° extra duration and is a stronger material and that is their version of a “stage one” cam. But company B’s cam doesn’t actually open the valve for longer but is made of a stronger material and that is their version of “stage one” it is a way to sell their products without actually giving the numbers needed to make an educated purchase on a product that will give you a desired outcome. Don’t fall for “stages” ask questions about the product, how it performs, what the material can handle, and how it is improved compared to factory parts. Make educated purchases.
@@Str0ngerwaif88you literally explained it yourself. “Stages” when it comes to stuff like that is just a way of saying different levels of them. I think it’s dumb when people refer to there car as say “stage 2” but I do think it’s ok when a company markets stuff like that. Like you said with cams. They may have a stage 1,2,3 cam. Just a way to show the aggressiveness of them. Now that being said, I don’t think stages should be used to compare items from different companies. Example being just because one company has a “stage 1” and the other has “stage 2” that doesn’t mean that the stage 2 is better just because it’s stage 2. Hopefully that makes sense but basically just saying if it’s within the same company and being used to market a product of different “aggressiveness” or “durability” like shown in the video, I think it’s fine.

Why do you need a forged sleeved block? Audis blocks are typically pretty strong up to the 1xxx hp range and I don’t think the new s4s have reached that horsepower range yet. Typically the weak point is the rods but I haven’t seen much of a general consensus on what is deemed “safe” and “unsafe”
@@fewminutestudio959 true, no need to forge, unless it's one of the smaller capacity 2.0T, and even then they handle 1000hp pretty easily. Some even push the 1.8T to well over 500hp, there are guys running their Golf R's up to well into the 1000hps.

The transmission would need to be upgraded to handle that power. An untouched transmission would not make it very far at that power level. A good question, thanks for asking

@@MediasmokeGaming500 package will be perfectly fine, I'd advise at least a trans cooler and brace for either just to help the longevity of the trans
@@MediasmokeGamingtorque kills everything not rpm. So horsepower isn’t really relevant in determining. The stock transmission can handle 650lbft of torque which the stock engine can’t anyways. You’ll break the engine before you break the trans. Engine is capable of handling 600lbft of torque to the wheels.

Will that Dodson Billet Transpan work on a 2014 Audi R8 V10 S-Tronic. It has the DL800 Graziano transmission as well.
Great question, thank you for asking. From what I can see, yes it should fit to my knowledge. Per our website, we do not sell that part separately, but it is a part of our Stage 2 transmission builds. In the application notes for that package, it states 2014+ R8 with the S-Tronic transmission. From the information I have, yes I would say that the two are compatible.
